When I was eighteen, I was lucky enough to have you walk into my life. You started off as someone who randomly rushed me at Kappa Delta; then, on bid day, I found myself running up to you on the lane.

Somewhere along the way, you became one of the best friends I’ve ever had.

On bid day, I didn’t even really know what a “Big Sis” was, but I knew I wanted you to be mine. I was lucky enough for this to actually happen. And, man oh man, have you taken care of me like a big sister. You’ve been there for me through a lot. You’ve wiped my tears away, you’ve told me it’ll be okay, and you’ve talked me through ever problem I’ve had in college. You’ve been there for the good days too. I have so many happy memories of us being dumb and silly and carefree.

I know that no matter where life takes us, you’ll always be there. Sometimes, we go awhile without seeing each other because life gets a little crazy, but we always pick up right where we left off. I know that if I ever need you, you’ll be there in a heartbeat.

I’m so thankful that you came into my life. There is no way I could have made it this far without you. I’m so thankful you’re my big sis, and I really wish we had a dollar for every time someone confused us for actual sisters because we’d be rich.

Thanks for seeing me through the last three and half years, and let’s be honest, the rest of my life.
